Nominations are encouraged on behalf of and directly from PMI\u00aeMC members interested in serving in a volunteer leadership position. Self-nominations require an endorsement from two current PMI\u00aeMC members (to be included on the nomination form).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Vacant positions for a contested\u00a0election:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>PRESIDENT <\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>GENERAL SECRETARY<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You may find each position\u2019s detailed roles and responsibilities from the Vacant Positions R&amp;R 2024-2025 document <a href=\"https:\/\/pmimongolia-my.sharepoint.com\/:b:\/g\/personal\/secretary_pmimongolia_mn\/EUsis_5sucdFhSMKGFYEvcEBEqrC2AQlUNXjWF6i5IuIEQ?e=qwuNnb\"><strong>\u00a0HERE<\/strong><\/a>, PMI Mongolia Chapter\u2019s updated Bylaws <a href=\"https:\/\/pmimongolia-my.sharepoint.com\/:b:\/g\/personal\/secretary_pmimongolia_mn\/EbzfoZoc4INNrbiGZFCy9uEBDxPxiIMU2XB5iAJi9_xsyw?e=C3hOvl\">\u00a0<strong>HERE<\/strong><\/a>. To submit a nomination, please complete one nomination form per candidate. The nomination form is <a href=\"https:\/\/pmimongolia-my.sharepoint.com\/:b:\/g\/personal\/secretary_pmimongolia_mn\/EW_GgRpTYbFPimIwfRIINLYBjcSrZYXdv-mPrsl7wtJUiA?e=8MgFye\"><strong>HERE<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em><u>Please submit a nomination form(s), letter of intent in English, updated CV in English, and other supporting documents by email to administration@pmimongolia.mn by 16:00 Tuesday, November 28, 2023.<\/u><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>(PMI\u00aeMC)\u00a0Election\u00a0Process:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Call for nominations starts on November 14, 2023, and closes at 16:00 on November 28, 2023. The election will begin on December 4, 2023, and e-ballot voting will be closed on December 8, 2023. The election will be conducted and observed by an independent Election Nomination Committee approved by the Board. Following the nomination deadline, PMI\u00aeMC Election Nomination Committee will review all applications and solicit additional recommendations as needed to form a list of qualified candidates for each position. The committee will rank candidates for each position and candidates on the shortlist will be contacted by the representative of the Election Nomination Committee for an interview to confirm their interest in running for election and their understanding of the specific duties and responsibilities required for service. The current PMI Mongolia Chapter\u2019s Board of Directors may participate in the interview phase. Candidates selected for the final slate will be asked to provide brief responses to several questions to help voting members understand each candidate\u2019s goals and priorities for their term of service.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Important points to note regarding nominations and voting:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Each position requires a two-year commitment.<\/li>\n<li>To be nominated for a position, the individual must be a PMI\u00ae &amp;PMI\u00ae Mongolia Chapter member in good standing. This means their annual PMI\u00ae and PMI\u00aeMC membership dues must be up to date. People can nominate one or more positions by submitting a completed Nomination Form for each position of interest.<\/li>\n<li>Candidates and self-nominators must be PMI\u00ae and PMI\u00aeMC members in good standing by the close of nominations at 16:00 on November 28, 2023. \u00a0This will be verified against the official members list on PMI\u00ae component system.<\/li>\n<li>Candidates must have two eligible nominators. All PMI\u00ae and PMI\u00aeMC members in good standing will be considered eligible.<\/li>\n<li>Nominations close at 16:00 on Tuesday, November 28, 2023. \u00a0All completed Nomination forms must be emailed to &lt;<a href=\"administration@pmimongolia.mn\"><strong>administration@pmimongolia.mn<\/strong><\/a>&gt; by this time.<\/li>\n<li>Candidates must submit the filled-out nomination form, a current CV biography for posting, and a one-page explanation (cover letter) of why they are applying and qualified for the position must be submitted. Incomplete applications will be automatically disqualified.<\/li>\n<li>A list of Candidates with their biographies and letters will be emailed to all eligible voting members for PMI\u00ae staff to set up an electronic voting ballot to complete.
