Earning the PMP® credential represents more than a professional certification—it reflects Otgontuya’s dedication to continuous learning, her pursuit of excellence, and her commitment to strengthening the knowledge and skills required to deliver complex projects in today’s dynamic business environment successfully.
Otgontuya is a Senior Analyst at Rio Tinto with experience in project management, project controls, and cost management. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the Mongolian University of Science and Technology and a Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from Beihang University, China.
Otgontuya U. began her career as a Core Network Planning Engineer at Skytel and later joined ITZone as a Business Development Manager, where she gained experience in delivering information technology and infrastructure projects. She currently works at Rio Tinto, supporting major projects through project planning, controls, and cost management.
Achieving the PMP® certification marks another meaningful step in Otgontuya’s professional journey. It further enhances her ability to apply internationally recognized project management standards while combining her engineering background with practical project controls expertise. With this achievement, she is well positioned to contribute even greater value to complex projects through structured planning, effective collaboration, and disciplined project execution.
