Nominations for PMI® Mongolia Chapter’s Board of Directors election for the term 2026-2027 are now open!

Do you know someone whose expertise and values should be represented on (PMI®MC)’s Board?

Would you personally like to play a leadership role in (PMI®MC)?

Service on (PMI®MC)’s Board of Directors represents a major contribution to the country’s development of the project management industry. Nominations are encouraged on behalf of and directly from (PMI®MC) members interested in serving in a volunteer leadership position. Self-nominations require an endorsement from two current (PMI®MC) members (to be included on the nomination form).

Please submit a nomination form(s), letter of intent in English, updated CV in English, recent photo and other supporting documents by email to administration@pmimongolia.mn by 16:00 Friday, 12 December 2025.

(PMI®MC) Election Process:

Call for nominations starts on 29 November 2025 and closes at 16:00 on 12 December 2025. The election will begin on 21 December 2025, and e-ballot voting will be closed on 26 December 2025. The election will be conducted and observed by an independent Election Nomination Committee approved by the Board. Following the nomination deadline, (PMI®MC) Election Nomination Committee will review all applications and solicit additional recommendations as needed to form a list of qualified candidates for each position. The committee will rank candidates for each position and candidates on the shortlist will be contacted by the representative of the Election Nomination Committee for an interview to confirm their interest in running for an election and their understanding of the specific duties and responsibilities required for service. Candidates selected for the final slate will be asked to provide brief responses to several questions to understand each candidate’s goals and priorities for their term of service.

Important points to note regarding nominations and voting:

  • Each position requires a two-year commitment.
  • To be nominated for a position, the individual must be a PMI® & PMI® Mongolia Chapter member in good standing. This means their annual PMI® and PMI®MC membership dues must be up to date. People can nominate one or more positions by submitting a completed Nomination Form for each position of interest.
  • Candidates and self-nominators must be PMI® and PMI®MC members in good standing at the time of nominations submission.  This will be verified against the official members list on PMI® Thoughtspot.
  • Candidates must have two eligible nominators. All PMI® and PMI®MC members in good standing will be considered eligible.
  • Nominations close at 16:00 on Friday, 12 December 2025.  All completed Nomination forms and supporting documents in PDF must be emailed to administration@pmimongolia.mn by this time.
  • Candidates must submit the filled-out nomination form, a current CV biography for posting, a recent photo, and a one-page explanation (cover letter) of why they are applying and qualified for the position must be submitted. Incomplete applications will be automatically disqualified.
  • A list of qualified Candidates with their biographies and cover letters will be emailed to all eligible voting members for PMI® staff to set up an electronic voting ballot to complete. In case only one candidate is eligible and no other contestant for the position, then he/she will be acclaimed to the applied position without further voting.
