PMO coaching session

PMI Mongolia Chapter had the pleasure of hosting a PMO Coaching Session on the theme “PMO Set Up and Management” for the MPDO team of Rio Tinto Mongolia on the 12th of May 2025.

We were honored to have Mr. Jack Hsieh (OPM3, PfMP, PgMP, PMP, PMI-ACP, PMI-PBA, PMO-CP) lead the session. His insights covered a range of essential topics, including:

Mr. Jack Hsieh is a globally recognized expert in innovation and project management, with over 25 years of experience across multinational companies and industries. He has led large-scale, cross-functional projects at Sony Ericsson and Logitech, and currently serves as President of Maestro Project Management Consultants Co., Ltd., delivering solutions in innovation strategy, new product development, and project management across high-tech, telecom, biotech, academia, government, and non-profit sectors.

Mr. Hsieh is a trailblazer in professional certification, being the first person globally to hold all seven top certifications from PMI, including PMP, PfMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP, PMI-PBA, PMO-CP, and OPM3®, as well as IIBA’s AAC and CBDA certifications.

He is a global board director of PDMA, overseeing China market engagement, BOK development, and exam committees. He has also served as a PMI Region Mentor, RCP Advisory Group Director, and PMI Taiwan Chapter leader, significantly contributing to chapter development and inter-chapter collaboration in Asia.

His recognitions include being named one of China’s Top 10 Distinguished Project Management Trainers and a Distinguished Character in China Enterprise Training. He has also co-authored PMI’s “Q&A for the PMBOK® Guide 6th Edition.”

Mr. Hsieh holds a Master’s degree in Aeronautics and Astronautics from Stanford University and a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from Yuan-Ze University.
