Congratulations to PMI Mongolia Chapter’s member Mr. Tushig Dalkhjav on earning the globally recognized (Project Management Professional) (PMP) ® Certification issued by the Project Management Institute. 👏👏👏

An experienced project management professional with over 10 years of experience in the infrastructure and mining industries, Mr. Tushig specializes in successfully delivering large-scale, complex projects. With a background in quantity surveying and contracts administration, he brings a strategic approach to managing EPCM contracts, ensuring projects are executed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Currently, At Lycopodium Minerals PTD, Mr. Tushig is working as a Quantity Surveyor and Contracts Administrator, where he manages the full lifecycle of contracts, from scope definition to close-out, ensuring compliance and optimizing project costs. His work includes monitoring the Value of Work Done (VOWD) and negotiating variations to enhance project value.

During his tenure at Oyu Tolgoi LLC in Mongolia as a Business Improvement Specialist, he led key business improvement initiatives, impacting thousands of frontline workers and driving operational efficiency.

His expertise, in project management methodologies, including Lean Six Sigma and Agile, was instrumental in delivering successful projects and facilitating training workshops that empowered the workforce.

Previously, as a Senior Project Engineer at Worley Engineering LLC, he directed teams to deliver multiple underground construction packages at the Oyu Tolgoi Underground Mine Development Project. His leadership ensured materials and resources were managed effectively, and all activities were aligned with project goals and client expectations.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Tushig contributed to the New Ulaanbaatar International Airport Project, the largest infrastructure project in Mongolia in the last decade. As a Quantity Surveyor, he was responsible for both post-contract duties and field construction quality control, focusing on the electrical aspects of the project.

Throughout his career, he has consistently demonstrated the ability to manage costs and improve project outcomes, achieving significant savings on variation claims and enhancing the overall value delivered to stakeholders.
