CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR NEW PMI-CP™!

We are pleased to announce that Nemekhbayar Nanzad, a valued member of the PMI Mongolia Chapter, has successfully earned the PMI-CP™ (Construction Professional) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI®).

Nemekhbayar is a Civil and Industrial Construction Engineer who obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Russia in 2014 and his Master’s degree in Civil Engineering in South Korea in 2020. During his graduate studies, he worked as a research assistant and co-authored a published scientific paper on the spatial buckling theory of prestressed steel beams.

He is a Professional Engineer in Construction works and holds the international credential of EDGE Expert under the EDGE green building certification system. His professional experience includes serving as a Site Engineer and Assistant QS on the Buyant-Ukhaa 2 Residential Complex and the New Ulaanbaatar International Airport projects, as well as working as an Assistant Design Engineer at Erdenet Mining Corporation. Above all, he contributed as a Construction Supervision Engineer in the Project Implementation Unit for the New Central Wastewater Treatment Plant in Ulaanbaatar, overseeing the project from the commencement of major construction works through to its successful handover to the State Commission. Through these experiences, Nemekhbayar N. recognized that successful project delivery requires more than ensuring construction quality. It demands effective contract management, precise scope definition and validation, structured stakeholder communication, and proactive risk identification. This realization motivated him to advance his expertise in construction project management and apply these principles in practice. He says that by participating in the PMI Mongolia Chapter’s PMI CP Exam Prep Buddy Program, he gained valuable insights and guidance from certified professionals, which supported his successful preparation for the PMI-CP certification.

We warmly congratulate Nemekhbayar on this significant achievement and wish him good health, continued success, growth, and excellence in his professional journey!
