PMI Mongolia Chapter’s Annual General Meeting 2026 Successfully Held

The PMI Mongolia Chapter’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2026 was successfully held on the evening of January 28, 2026. The event was hosted by Mr. Bayanmunkh Bagashar, Director of Stakeholder Relations.

The meeting was attended by the PMI Mongolia Chapter Board of Directors, representative of the Advisory Committee, and 55 chapter members.

The AGM opened with remarks from Mr. Javkhlant Ganbaatar, newly elected President of the PMI Mongolia Chapter, followed by official greetings from Yolanda Kim, Chapter Engagement Specialist, Asia Pacific Region 9, and Linh Phuong, Chapter Operations Analyst.

Following this, Ms. Temuul Batnyam, (PMP®, PMI-ACP®, PMI-PBA®, Certified SAFe® 5 Agilist), General Secretary, presented the Chapter’s key achievements and member services for 2025, and the Chapter’s 2026 key priorities.

A summary video highlighting the Chapter’s major activities and events in 2025 was presented, followed by voting on the adoption of Bylaws amendments.

The year 2025 marked a remarkable period of growth and achievement for the PMI Mongolia Chapter, with total membership reaching 340 members. The Chapter was also recognized with the following honors:

  • Most Improved – Growth
  • Membership Goal Achiever
  • Regional Culture Spotlight: “Together We Can”

In addition, mentors supporting the PMP®, CAPM®, and PMI-ACP® Exam Preparation Buddy Programs were recognized for their time, dedication, and volunteer contributions to advancing the project management profession in Mongolia.

The meeting provided an excellent platform for members to network, welcome new members, exchange professional insights, and engage in meaningful discussions on Chapter initiatives and future directions.
