CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR NEW PMP®! 

PMI Mongolia Chapter is delighted to congratulate Gerelt-Od Munkhtur on successfully earning the globally recognized Project Management Professional (PMP)® Certification, awarded by the Project Management Institute.

Gerelt-Od is a Civil Engineer and Spatial Planning Engineer specializing in urban development, infrastructure planning, and integrated project delivery. She holds degrees in Urban and Regional Planning from Japan and Civil Engineering from Mongolia, providing her with a strong interdisciplinary foundation that integrates technical engineering, spatial planning, and sustainable urban design. She works confidently in English-speaking professional environments and has extensive experience collaborating with multidisciplinary and multicultural project teams.

She currently serves as a Spatial Planning Engineer at the Integrated Project Management Office (IPMO) of Ulaanbaatar City, where her work focuses on urban and transportation planning analysis. Gerelt-Od contributes to the analysis, modeling, and evaluation of major urban development and infrastructure initiatives using PTV Visum, PTV Viswalk, and GIS-based spatial analysis tools. Through this work, she supports evidence-based decision-making, scenario-based simulations, and science-driven future predictions to assess transportation networks, pedestrian movement, and spatial development impacts.

Previously, Gerelt-Od gained over three years of hands-on experience in construction and mining projects, serving in roles such as Engineering Assistant, Document Controller, Construction Supervisor, and CSA Quality Engineer. These roles strengthened her understanding of construction processes, quality management, and on-site project coordination within complex, large-scale project environments.

The achievement of the PMP® certification reflects Gerelt-Od’s strong commitment to professional excellence, continuous learning, and globally recognized project management best practices. She is driven by a desire to contribute to projects that enhance quality of life, promote resilient cities, and support Ulaanbaatar’s long-term urban transformation, bringing a thoughtful, analytical, and empathetic approach to engineering and planning.
