CONGRATULATIONS TO THE NEW PMI-CP™!

We are delighted to announce that Ariunjargal Shirendev, an esteemed member of the PMI Mongolia Chapter, has successfully earned a globally recognized PMI Construction Professional (PMI-CP™) certification, awarded by the Project Management Institute (PMI®).

She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Russian studies from NUM-SFLC and a master’s degree in International Relations from the National University of Mongolia (NUM-SFS) and also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.

She began her career in the construction sector in 2013, overseeing interior finishing and decoration works for Mongolia’s first KFC branch under the guidance of skilled specialists from Tavan Bogd LLC and Singaporean architects.

From 2017 to 2020, she worked as a translator on the Songinokhairkhan District Model Hospital project, financed by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) under the FIDIC international contract. During this project, she learned advanced innovative technologies, project management, and various approaches from skilled international experts from Germany and Russia, thereby broadening her knowledge in the construction industry. Additionally, she managed and successfully implemented several smaller reconstruction and renovation projects at a management level.

In 2021-2022, she worked as a site manager for the construction of pharmaceutical and medical supplies warehouse of ZOONOTIC disease center, funded by the ADB.

From 2022 to 2024, she worked as an EPC engineer (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) on Mongolia’s First Utility Scale Energy Storage Project under the international FIDIC contract and funded by ADB as well.

Since 2024, she has been working as a project engineer on the international project for the construction of the Khan-Uul District Model Hospital also financed by the ADB.

She aims to continuously developing her skills and localize international project management good practices into the Mongolian construction sector.

Ariunjargal is also starting her own startup to contribute to the development of Mongolia’s construction industry sector, while continuing her work on international projects.

Ariunjargal’s achievement is not only a personal milestone but also a powerful inspiration for young professionals in Mongolia’s construction and project management fields. Her dedication shows how combining international knowledge with local expertise can create a lasting impact. We believe her journey will encourage more professionals to pursue global certifications and strive for excellence in shaping the future of Mongolia’s infrastructure.
