CONGRATULATIONS TO MONGOLIA’S FIRST PMI-PfMP®!

We are pleased to share the exciting news that Mr. Purevsuren Ravsal, a valued member of the PMI Mongolia Chapter, has successfully obtained the Portfolio Management Professional (PfMP)® certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI®), becoming the first person in Mongolia to hold this prestigious credential.

Between 2016 and 2018, he began his career at Capitron Bank, progressing from Teller to Credit Officer. Since 2018, Purevsuren R. has held various roles at Khan Bank across the Retail Banking, Business, and Operations Departments. Starting 2023, he has been working as a Technology Portfolio Manager at Information Technology Business Governance Department, overseeing the planning, execution, governance, and monitoring of enterprise-level IT projects and programs.

Throughout his career, he has obtained several globally recognized certifications, including PMI-PMPSAFe® 6.0 Agilist, and Mongolia’s first PMI-CPMAI (Cognitive Project Management for AI) certification.  Purevsuren R. further advanced his knowledge in AI-focused project management by completing the CPMAI+Ethics and CPMAI Plus specialized training programs. He must be proud to be among the first professionals in Mongolia to earn both PMI-PfMP and SAFe® 6.0 Lean Portfolio Manager certifications. He is currently preparing for the PMI-PgMP credential, with the goal of becoming one of Mongolia’s first professionals certified across all three domains of P3—Project, Program, and Portfolio Management.

Between 2021 and 2023, while working in Operations, he led multiple operational transformation projects and programs at Khan Bank utilizing Lean Six Sigma methodologies. His responsibilities extended beyond project execution to include the development and implementation of relevant standards, policies, guidelines and procedures. To support this work and foster a culture of continuous improvement across the organization, he obtained both Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and Black Belt certifications.

We believe his professional development path will undoubtedly inspire and motivate fellow professionals to strive for higher standards in project, program, and portfolio management.

PMI Mongolia Chapter congratulates Purevsuren R. and extends the warmest wishes for his good health, happiness, and continued success in all his future endeavors!
