URBAN PLANNING SYSTEM AND INFRASTRUCTURE IN POST-SOCIALIST COUNTRIES

For the post-socialist countries like Mongolia, the urban regeneration and transformation processes went through drastic governance and institutional changes over the past few decades. With nearly half of the entire population living in, Ulaanbaatar city faces many challenges and issues like other cities worldwide. Social accountability and meaningful participation of all stakeholders in local and municipal activities can bring us one step closer to finding the right place for seeking the solutions.
